Unitrans and Nugget Markets are proud to host a “Stuff a Bus” holiday food drive to support the Yolo Food Bank and UC Davis Pantry. A vintage Unitrans London double decker bus will be on display and volunteers will be receiving community food donations on Saturday, December 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Nugget Markets located at 1414 E. Children and adults alike are welcome to enjoy the view from the top deck as they drop off their food donations. Donors will also be invited to spin the wheel to win a prize provided by Unitrans and Nugget Markets. Plus, the first 50 donors will receive a free Nugget Markets canvas bag along with a free 10-ride Unitrans ticket.

All donations received will be delivered to the Yolo Food Bank and the UC Davis Pantry to assist those in need in our local communities. Needed foods include canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned meat, low-sugar cereal, peanut butter, whole grain pasta, rice, canned or dry beans, 100% fruit juice and shelf-stable milk.
