The Tara K. Telford Graduate Student Award was created to support graduate student research in the Department of Chemistry. Your gift will generate dollars on a yearly basis supporting research seeking to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

This fellowship was created in honor of Tara Telford ('99) who sadly passed in November 2017. In addition to being a graduate of the Mathematics department and proud Aggie, Tara was a devoted Unitrans employee (#679!) during her college career and active Unitrans alumna, sharing Unitrans’ heritage with her family. While at Unitrans, Tara was a conductor and was known for her enthusiasm and friendliness, even winning “Conductor of the Quarter”. Unitrans is also where she met her husband, Paul Telford, who asked her out for the first time after a shift together in winter 1998. Tara will be missed by family, friends, and her Unitrans family.
