FEDERAL FISCAL YEARS 2021 – 2023
In accordance with 49 CFR Part 26.45(g), Unitrans, as a recipient of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) assistance, announces a proposed Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) overall program goal of 1.8 percent for Federal Fiscal Years 2021-2023. This race-neutral goal represents the percentage of work to be performed by certified DBE firms on federally assisted projects.
Unitrans will be hosting a webinar for public participation on
Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
To participate in the webinar and/or to receive a copy of the proposed methodology, please contact Nicole Chang at nchang@gcapservices.com. Unitrans will accept comments on this proposed project goal until Friday, September 25, 2020.
The methodology used to determine the proposed goal will be available for public inspection for thirty (30) days from the date of this notice, Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the following location:

In observance of Labor Day, on Monday, September 7, Unitrans will operate WEEKEND service.
The Z & O lines will resume their regular routes on Second Street and serve Amtrak directly starting Tuesday, September 8. Until September 8, customers needing the bus on 2nd Street or Amtrak will need to walk one block north to 3rd Street.

Due to construction, the Anderson at Hanover G/P line bus stop (Stop #154) and the F Street at 14th Street E/Q line bus stop (Stop #115) are closed on September 9.
For Anderson at Hanover (G & P lines), use Anderson Road at Villanova Drive (Stop #153)
For F Street at 14th Street (E & Q lines), use F Street at Covell Boulevard (Stop #112)
The F and Covell bus stop for the P and F lines will be closed on Tuesday, February 18 and Wednesday, February 19 for bus shelter replacement. Please use the bus stop on 14th Street at F Street for P and F lines.
In observance of Presidents' Day, on Monday, February 17, Unitrans will operate WEEKEND service.
Due to customer health and safety concerns, Unitrans is implementing an update baggage policy effective March 30, 2020. Carry-on items are allowed only if passengers can safely carry the items on the bus in one boarding. All items must be controlled at all times without blocking seats or aisles and must not be leaking. No hazardous items will be allowed on the bus, such as firearms or other weapons, car batteries, containers of gasoline, or other explosive or flammable items. Customers in violation of this policy may not be allowed to board the vehicle or will be asked to leave the vehicle.The policy update impacts all baggage including recyclables. 中文 En español

On Monday, February 10 through Tuesday, February 11, the bus shelter for the Covell Blvd at J Street Eastbound stop will be under construction. The stop will remain open.
Going to DORMal at the ARC on Saturday, February 8, 2020? Unitrans will be running extra service to serve the ARC via two routes - one serving West Davis and Sycamore Lane and one serving Olive Drive and West Village. Both routes start at 7:30pm. Click here for schedules. All riders welcome.
