North Sycamore Loop Construction

On Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3, the North Sycamore Bus Turnaround Loop will be under construction. The G & J lines will be detoured onto Antelope Avenue and Quail Street during the construction. The G & J lines will be unable to serve the North Sycamore Loop bus stop. Use the Chapparal Apartments Inbound bus stop as an alternative during construction.

Weekend Service on Friday, July 3

Unitrans is operating weekend service on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day. The Unitrans Business Office will be closed. On Saturday, July 4, Unitrans is operating weekend service too. Please contact Unitrans with questions - [email protected] or 530-752-2877.

New Routes and Service Changes Start on August 3!

As recommended by the City of Davis and Unitrans Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP), new route and schedule changes will start on August 3, 2026. For more information, on the SRTP, please click here. Schedules are now available online under the Routes tab.

ZipPass Retiring on June 30

The ZipPass app is retiring effective July 1, 2026. The last day to use the app is June 30, 2026. 

Spring Finals and Summer Service

Finals Service will operate on weekdays from Friday, June 5 through Thursday, June 11. On Friday, June 5, night service will operate. All lines operate fare-free during Finals Service. The following lines have additional night service:

  • Additional 9:10 PM Departure: F
  • Additional 10:40 PM Departure: C
  • Additional 11:10 PM Departure: D, J, L, P, Q, W, V, & Z

The VL and VX lines do not operate on Finals Week. The full V line will operate every 15 minutes during the day instead.

New Decals and Queuing Procedures at Tilia Roundabout

Do you board at The Green/Tilia Roundabout bus stop on the VX, V, and U lines?

You may have noticed yellow line decals in winter quarter and thought "what are these for?" 

Starting in Spring Quarter, to help speed up the boarding process at The Green/Tilia Roundabout, we're requesting that customers form two lines. The new yellow lines and decals show you where to form the two lines.

When a double decker bus arrives, one line will enter through the front doors and one line will enter through the rear doors.

New Arrival Predictions Website and Maps on Unitrans Website

The "Arrival Predictions" link on the main Unitrans website page and the individual real-time maps on each page now feature predictions and maps from Swiftly. Unitrans is switching to Swiftly, a real time prediction service, from Umo IQ. To use the new maps and predictions, be sure to select your route, travel direction, and bus stop. Third party services like Google Maps, Apple Maps, and the Transit App have already switched to using Swiftly provided information.
