Single Ride - $1.50
Pay with cash on the bus (exact fare only) or purchase on your smartphone through the ZipPass mobile app!
- Up to two children under the age of five ride free per one fare paying adult. Exact fare only. Drivers carry no change. No refunds.
- People 60 and older and people with qualifying disabilities may ride fare-free with a Unitrans Access Pass, a valid Medicare card, or a current senior or disabled pass issued by another transit agency. Scroll down this page to learn more about the free Access Pass.
- Youth five to eighteen years old may also ride fare-free with a current, school issued identification card, Unitrans Youth Pass, or a youth pass issued by another transit agency. Scroll down this page to learn more about the free Youth Pass.
Ten Ride Ticket - $8.50
Valid for 10 rides. Available on your smartphone through the ZipPass mobile app, in-person at the UC Davis Campus Store in the Memorial Union, the UC Davis Downtown Store, and the Unitrans Business Office.
Monthly Pass - $34
Available on your smartphone through the ZipPass mobile app, in-person at the UC Davis Campus Store in the Memorial Union, the UC Davis Downtown Store, and the Unitrans Business Office.
Valid only for the month specified on the pass.
Quarterly Pass - $87
Available on your smartphone through the ZipPass mobile app, in-person at the UC Davis Campus Store in the Memorial Union, the UC Davis Downtown Store, and the Unitrans Business Office.
- Valid only for the specified quarter. Covers first day of the academic quarter until the day before the beginning of the next academic quarter. Example: Fall Quarter Pass is valid from the first day of the UC Davis fall academic quarter until the day before the winter academic quarter begins.
Annual Pass - $245
Available only through the ZipPass mobile app and in-person at the Unitrans Business Office.
- Valid for an entire year starting July 1 and ending June 30 of the following year.
UC Davis Undergraduate Student - Unlimited Access
By showing current UC Davis undergraduate AggieCard. Without AggieCard, fare is $1.50. No photocopies or digital images, including OASIS, accepted because drivers cannot determine their validity.
A valid undergraduate UC Davis AggieCard also entitles the holder to unlimited YoloBus access.
Access Pass - Unlimited Access
For people 60 and older and people with qualifying disabilities.
The Access Pass (formerly the Senior & Disabled Passes) allows customers 60 and older or customers with qualifying disabilities to unlimited free access on all Unitrans transit routes. One companion may ride for free with a valid Access Pass holder. To receive a free Access Pass, please fill out the application and email to unitrans@ucdavis.edu or mail to:

If 60 and older, proof of age is required for the free Access Pass. If under 60 and requesting the free Access Pass based on a disability, a physician's certification is required. See the following application link for eligibility criteria.

Youth Pass - Unlimited Access
For people five to 18 years old
Youth 18 and under ride fare free with a current, valid school issued student identification card. If your child does not have a valid school ID, you may fill out the youth pass application and send to Unitrans at unitrans@ucdavis.edu or mail to:

School IDs are the preferred method to access the bus. Youth passes expire every summer.
No youth pass or valid student ID? Then you must pay the regular $1.50 fare or have a valid alternative pass.
