ZipPass Retiring on June 30

Do you use ZipPass to buy Unitrans passes and ride the bus including the UC Davis undergraduate bus pass?

You may see a ZipPass pop-up message that states the last day to add fare is February 1, 2026 and the last day to use your passes is April 30. This message only applies to Sacramento Regional Transit riders at this time.

The ZipPass app will be fully retired though on June 30, 2026 for Unitrans. Unitrans and regional transit operators are working on transitioning to a new app before the June 30 retirement. We encourage ZipPass users to only buy as many passes as they need as all passes will be expired on June 30. New pass purchases in ZipPass will start being restricted in May 2026.
